Back in late March, the Envoy staff assembled for our first-ever photoshoot in 82 years of publication.
The Envoy has been the voice of Hunter students since 1944, providing fearless and accurate journalism for Hunter students by Hunter students. At the time of The Envoy’s conception, Hunter College was still an all-women’s college; the country was in the midst of World War II, with college-aged women helping on the warfront back home, diligently documenting fundraising efforts and local news. Over eight decades later, The Envoy continues to be a source of thorough and essential journalism in the Hunter community, keeping students up to date on politics and culture in New York City.
This spring, our reporters took a new position in front of the camera to bask in some much-deserved spotlight. Check out the photos below!
