✨ Meet the 2026–2027 E-Board! ✨ The Envoy is back!📰 Last month, More Perfect University hosted its first campus event, “Student Rental Rip-Off,” where students and New Yorkers had the opportunity to ask Mayor Mamdani questions about New York City’s housing affordability crisis. This summer, The Envoy has revamped its website and launched a new Travel column, featuring stories from our reporters and freelancers about their experiences abroad—whether through study abroad programs or personal travels. The Envoy had the pleasure of attending More Perfect University’s Rental Rip-off Hearing event. During the event, students and New Yorkers engaged in a discussion with Zohran Mamdani about housing affordability in NYC. We also had the opportunity to interview the head of More Perfect University, along with several audience members, about the conversation and the issues raised throughout the event. Stay tuned for an article on the event coming out soon! ROTC has quietly made its return to CUNY, with more than 100 cadets now enrolled at City College. More than a decade after professors pushed military training off two campuses, the program has rebuilt a presence at City College and York College. What a season for the Hawks 🏆 From conference titles in outdoor track and field to runner-up finishes in men’s volleyball and men’s tennis, this spring brought plenty of big moments and standout performances. And to top it all off? The Hawks brought home the Commissioner’s Cup trophy. WHCS Radio’s annual Battle of the Bands returned this year with six bands taking the stage.
